Enhance Your Natural Beauty with Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers are made from hyaluronic acid (HA), a substance naturally found in the body. These fillers help restore volume, smooth wrinkles, and enhance facial features for a refreshed, youthful appearance.
HA fillers are biodegradable and temporary, with results lasting 6 to 18 months as the body gradually absorbs them. Common treatment areas include the lips, cheeks, and facial contours, as well as softening lines and creases caused by aging.
At The Infirmary Skin Health Clinic, our expert team creates personalized treatment plans to achieve natural, balanced results that enhance your unique beauty.

Reduce Wrinkles & Refresh Your Look with Neurotoxin Treatments
Neurotoxins (commonly known as anti-wrinkle injections) are used to smooth fine lines and wrinkles, creating a refreshed, youthful appearance. Over time, repeated facial expressions like smiling or frowning can cause lines and creases to form.
Using botulinum toxin, these injectables relax targeted facial muscles, softening existing wrinkles and helping prevent new lines from forming. Neurotoxins can also be used for facial contouring, enhancing your natural features for a subtle, rejuvenated look.
At The Infirmary Skin Health Clinic, our skilled team provides personalized treatments for safe, natural-looking results.

Botox Treatments for Migraines, TMJ, and Excessive Sweating
Botox®, a type of neuromodulator, is not only used for aesthetic purposes but can also effectively treat several medical conditions, including chronic migraines, TMJ dysfunction, and hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating).
Migraines: Botox is injected into specific areas of the head, face, and neck to relax muscles and block pain signals, reducing the frequency and intensity of chronic migraines.
TMJ Dysfunction: Injections into the masseter muscle help relieve jaw tension, headaches from teeth grinding, and symptoms like lockjaw by relaxing the jaw muscles.
Hyperhidrosis: Botox injections under the arms or hands can temporarily block sweat gland activity, reducing or eliminating excessive sweating in targeted areas.

- TMJ
- Migraines
- Hyperhidrosis
Who Should get Neurotoxin Injections for Migraines, TMJ pain or hyperhidrosis?
Neurotoxin injections can be an effective treatment for patients who suffer from chronic migraines, TMJ pain or hyperhidrosis.
Does insurance cover neurotoxin treatments for Migraines, TMJ pain or hyperhidrosis?
Neurotoxin injections (specifically Botox) for these concerns are approved by Health Canada, and in certain circumstances may be covered by your private insurance. It is important to consult with your Family Practitioner to discuss criteria for coverage and prior authorization for insurance purposes.
What are common side effects of the migraine neurotoxin protocol?
The most common side effect following injections for migraines is neck pain and stiffness the week following the procedure. For other areas treated with therapeutic botox you may experience bruising, swelling and mild discomfort at the injection site(s) for a day or two after treatment.
How quickly will I see improvements in my migraine, TMJ or hyperhidrosis symptoms?
For migraines, it may take up to 14 days to see improvements in your headache symptom. Patients usually see the most improvement in their headaches following their second or third round of neurotoxin injections. Initial results may be a reduction in severity or improvement in abortive medication efficacy. It is important to note that patients who do not see improvements in their headaches after 2-3 treatments are unlikely to respond if treatments are continued. For TMJ or hyperhidrosis symptoms, you may begin to see improvements in about 14 days.
How long do Neurotoxin last to reduce migraines, tmj pain or hyperhidrosis?
Although individual results may vary, typically, results can be seen for approximately 6 - 9 months.
What is the price?
If your treatment is covered by insurance for migraine headaches and hyperhidrosis, there is a $250 injector fee. The cost for treatment of hyperhydrosis and migraines not covered by insurance is between $600 - $800 depending on the amount of neurotoxin required to adequately treat your issues. TMJ (masseter injections) are usually not covered. Typical dosing is between 20 - 30 units/side at $8/unit intil July 31st, 2025. Price increase to $10/unit on August 1, 2025.
